Children have displayed their homework in Thurcroft Community Library, to raise awareness of the funds needed for repairs to the church.
Scootability
Y2 children took part in scootability to help develop their scooter control and handling skills. They had a lovely time.
Wales Rounders
Well done to both Year 1 and Year 2 teams who took part in the rounders at Wales High School. You all did us very proud. A special well done to the year 2 team, who won every single game!

Sports Day This year, the rain held off and we completed our annual sports day. Well done to the Brown team who came in first place with the most points. We would like to say well done to everyone who took part. It was a really warm day and the children did so well to continue to participate and earn points for their teams. Well done everyone!
Science Day Visit our page dedicated to the fun and crazy antics of Science Day with Sublime Science. The children had an action packed, educational and hands on day of science.
Well done to the boys and girls who participated in the Gym and Dance Festival at Wales High. They performed in front of 500 people and did such a great job. We are so proud of you all!
Red Nose Day
Thank you for wearing something red on your head for Red Nose Day on the 24th March. We raised £124.14 for the charity which works to transform lives and communities across the UK and the world.
Road Safety Assembly
We were lucky enough to have a special assembly in March, all about road safety. We listened to useful advice on how to cross the road safely and what to look and listen for.
Wear Red for The Mayor
Thank you everyone who took part in Wear Red for The Mayor. We raised £166 for her charity which support the blind and visually impaired.

Children of The World
We would like to say a huge well done to all of the children who sang and spoke beautifully during the run of the Christmas play. We would also like to thank all parents and grandparents who have spent time learning lines and rehearsing with the children. It was worth it! We hope you enjoyed the show. Children In Need What an amazing response to the bun sale! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the non uniform and bun sale. We will update you with a total of how much has been raised after it has been calculated.
Mannequin Challenge! Some of the children took part in the Mannequin challenge on 18.11.16. This is a craze sweeping the internet in which everyone freezes like a mannequin. Well done to the year 1s and year 2s who were excellent in the challenge.
Superhero Fun Run for Poppy
A huge well done to all of the pupils and staff who dressed up and took part in the Fun Run for Poppy. You all did an amazing job! A total of the amount raised will be updated when the sponsors have all been collected.
School Council Visit to the Town Hall
Our School councillors visited the Town Hall and met the Mayor and her Hamster.
